Conflagration
A historical mystery based on the true story of Marie-Joseph Angélique an enslaved Black woman accused of arson in 1734. She denied setting the fire that destroyed 46 buildings in downtown Montreal. But it didn't matter. More than 20 witnesses testified that she was the arsonist. Though no one saw her do it.

She was truly on her own.
